Unit Highlights:
· The Neuro Medical Unit is a 40 bed PCU unit that specializes in neurological conditions including: Stroke, Epilepsy, Complex Migraines, Myasthenia Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Tumors, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and much more.
· Eight of those beds are equipped for continuous seizure monitoring through video EEG.
· The epilepsy team and our specially trained staff partner together to give the best care to these patients.
· We are the only center in Central Florida designated as a Level 4 Epilepsy center.
· Our staff take pride in being prepared to serve the community as a dedicated Comprehensive Stroke Center, recognized by U.S. News & World Report in Neurology and Neurosurgery

The role you’ll contribute:
The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
