Job Overview:

Day to day, you would be responsible for providing care to patients. Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families. This 32 bed specialty unit (19 ICU/ 13 Step down) provides care for ICU/SD level neuroscience and medical patients. The patient population on the Neuro ICU/SD unit includes cranial surgery, neuro-endovascular procedures, neuro-medical conditions, such as stroke, as well as medical conditions requiring intensive care. Deaconess Gateway Hospital has been designated as a certified Primary Stroke Center by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program.

Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state
