Qualifications

• New Jersey State Nursing License and BLS certification required.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• English communication proficiency required.
• Experience with EHR, Practice Management System and related systems preferred.
• 0–1 years experience; 2–4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician and staff with daily coordination of patient care and physician access.
• Function as the liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and documents in EHR.
• Delivers direct patient care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with SMG policy.
• Perform Point of Care testing, EKGs and phlebotomy as applicable.
• Prioritizes patient care by implementing physician orders and nursing procedures.
• Schedules appointments and manages Nurse Visit schedules.
• Effectively communicates problems or issues to the Office Supervisor/Manager.
