Trinity Health MI in Grand Rapids seeks an RN for Hauenstein 2 Stepdown to care for complex medical-surgical, oncology, trauma and sepsis patients on a 16-bed unit with enhanced monitoring and collaborative teamwork.

This full-time night-shift role offers growth opportunities, Magnet designation, day-one benefits, holidays and paid time off, with daily pay options. Licensed in Michigan; ADN required with BSN preferred; BLS and ACLS required (or within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids ADN must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• Certs: BLS, ACLS (ACLS at time of hire or w/in 6 months).
• Experience as an RN required.

Responsibilities

• Care for complex medical-surgical, oncology, trauma, and sepsis stepdown patients.
• Perform advanced patient assessments and monitoring.
• Enhance critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Build expertise in managing step down patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and fellow nurses.
• Play a key role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Hauenstein 2 Stepdown is a 16-bed, multi-specialty stepdown unit dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Our nurses care for a diverse and complex patient population, including medical-surgical stepdown, oncology stepdown, trauma stepdown, and sepsis patients, providing a higher level of monitoring and clinical support while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Our RNs:

What You Will Work:

• Full time
• 3 - 12 hours shift per week
• Night Shift: 7p - 7:30a
• Every Third Weekend Rotation

What Registered Nurse, RN will need:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• Certs: BLS, ACLS (ACLS at time of hire or w/in 6 months)
• Experience as an RN required.
