Remuneration: $36.38 - $51.08 per hour

This is not a remote working position and will be delivered fully on-site in Kempsey, Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.

We’re looking for skilled and motivated Registered Nurses to join our innovative MNC Virtual Care team — delivering safe, timely, and person-centred care to patients across the Mid North Coast.

This unique role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining virtual consultations with face-to-face outreach to support early discharge, avoid unnecessary ED presentations, and provide urgent and community-based care.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, digitally enabled nursing team that’s redefining how and where care is delivered. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive in dynamic settings, enjoy problem solving, and are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.


What you’ll do:

  • Perform comprehensive virtual and in-person assessments, escalate appropriately, and coordinate ongoing care.
  • Apply critical thinking to manage complex patients safely outside the hospital setting.
  • Support early intervention, hospital avoidance, and continuity of care through our Urgent Care, Central Intake, and Aged Care Outreach programs.
  • Engage with patients, carers, and teams across services to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Promote safety, innovation, and quality improvement in all aspects of care.



What you’ll need:

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • A strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and person-centred practice.
  • Confidence using or willingness to learn digital health tools and virtual care platforms.
  • A current NSW driver’s license and willingness to travel across community settings.
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
