Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele - Night Shift - St. Bernard Parish Hospital - Full Time

This position is for St. Bernard Hospital Foundation, an Ochsner managed entity. The hired candidate will be employed by St. Bernard Hospital Foundation working alongside Ochsner employees to provide outstanding patient care.

The RN is responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Key responsibilities include delegating, directing, and assisting team members; ensuring quality patient outcomes; demonstrating cultural sensitivity; and supporting unit and departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Required: Registered Nurse Diploma, current RN License in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Certification in Clinical Specialty Area.
