Organization and Job Summary: As a Float Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care, including education and care coordination. Effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team are essential. You will also engage in ongoing learning to meet Board of Nursing standards and promote a safe environment.
Department Summary: Float Pool RNs provide specialized services across various lines, including med-surg, step-down, palliative care, oncology, and more. This role offers opportunities to expand your skills and serve as a resource to others.
Position Details: Full-time Dayshift (7AM - 7PM) or Nightshift (7PM - 7AM), 36 hours/week, with premium pay.
Key Responsibilities: Establish and coordinate care plans, analyze patient data, evaluate progress, and employ strategies to ensure health and safety. Additional duties may be assigned.
Technical Capabilities: Fundamentals in evidence-based practice, care planning, patient education, and assessment. Ability to handle moderate difficulty tasks and demonstrate basic proficiency.
