Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Registered Nurses to join the Medicine Division (MACNEE) at Colchester Hospital. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care on your allocated ward, collaborating with a wide range of healthcare professionals.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, support discharge planning, and assist patients and families through complex healthcare journeys. OSCE is not required; apply early.

Qualifications

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care.
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
• Recognise and respond appropriately to deteriorating patients.
• Contribute to discharge planning and patient flow.
• Support patients and families through complex and often challenging healthcare journeys.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
• Participate in audit, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support and supervise students, apprentices and junior colleagues as appropriate.
• Act as a professional role model and advocate for high standards of care.
