Shift: Weekend Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

License and Certification:

The Medicine Unit - 4 James cares for acute and chronic patients aged 18 and up, with a focus on seniors. We welcome new grads and seasoned nurses who are compassionate, dependable, flexible, and hardworking. Join our 4 James family.

Kickstart your nursing career with Sentara's 6-month Nurse Residency program, designed for new graduate RNs with less than one year of experience. All new grads are automatically enrolled. The program covers Medical Surgical nursing, Intermediate Care, Critical Care, Emergency Care, Operating Room, and Women's Health across all 12 Sentara hospitals. It combines practical skills, hands-on training, professional development, and mentoring to help you transition confidently into your nursing career.
