Job description

Medical, Neurology, and Oncology Unit Culture

The Medical, Neurology, and Oncology Unit is a patient-centered team that is deeply committed to quality, safety, and exceptional patient experiences. Our culture is built on collaboration, compassion, and accountability as we care for the whole patient, addressing not only their clinical needs but also their emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being.

Our team strives for excellence through evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, and a shared commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care. We foster an environment where every team member's voice is valued, teamwork is essential, and patient advocacy is at the center of everything we do. Through meaningful connections with our patients and families, we aim to create healing experiences that reflect our dedication to both clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Under the direction of the Director or Charge Nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing nursing diagnoses, creating and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote exceptional clinical results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
