Job summary

AdventHealth in Minneola, FL is seeking a part-time RN for night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am). You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans, administering medications per orders and coordinating care with the team.

Job Description: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Education: Associate's of Nursing [Required] Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience: 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
