Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse, Medical Telemetry, at Highland Park Hospital to deliver safe, compassionate nursing care on a dedicated unit.

You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, while guiding unlicensed personnel and collaborating with the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a high-quality experience. On-site, 36 hours/week, day shift 7am–7:30pm with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• IL RN license required
• NLN accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required
• Nursing or CNA experience preferred for new graduates

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the care
• Guide and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care

Position Highlights

• Position: Registered Nurse, Medical Telemetry
• Location: Highland Park Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, (7am-7:30pm) Day shift with Rotating Weekends.
• Hours: 36

What You Will Do

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What You Will Need

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: Prior nursing or if new graduate nurse, CNA experience preferred
