Position Details

Location: Altoona, Pennsylvania 16601

Role Description: Medical Surgical care involves caring for patients who aren’t well enough to go home but not sick enough for specialized care. Responsibilities include inserting Foley catheters, NG tubes, starting IVs, changing wound dressings, and passing medications. Patients may include post-op, diabetics, bariatric surgery, detox, psych, cancer, orthopedic, heart disease, and emphysema. This is typically the last stop before patient discharge.

Shift & Compensation

Shift: 12 Hour Day (Start: 7:00 AM, End: 7:00 PM)

Shifts per Week: 3

Contract Hours: 36

Weekly Gross Pay Range: $1958.00 - $2158.00

Minimum Requirements

• Proper License/Certification
• 2 years of recent professional experience
• 1 year of recent experience in applicable specialty
• Current license to work in Pennsylvania
