Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of practice).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Telemetry/arrhythmia interpretation competency.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients.
• Continuously monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care coordination.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and participate in rapid response situations.
