Job summary

Novant Health Scotts Hill Medical Center in Wilmington, NC seeks a Registered Nurse for a brand-new Medical-Surgical unit focused on collaboration and exceptional patient care from day one.

You will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and educate families while coordinating care plans. Relocation assistance is available and onboarding is structured with dedicated preceptors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• RN license active in the appropriate state.
• One year relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Location Details

• Location: 109 Scotts Hill Medical Dr, Wilmington, NC
• Schedule: Full-Time, 72 hours / 2 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7a–7p)

What You’ll Do

• Provide patient-centered care across diverse medical-surgical populations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Prioritize and manage patient needs in a supportive team environment
• Educate patients and families while coordinating care plans

What We’re Looking For

• Education:
  - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
