Job summary

AdventHealth in Overland Park, KS seeks a Registered Nurse for night shift to provide comprehensive patient care in a full-time role. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS, and an Associate's degree in nursing, with BSN preferred and 1+ year acute care experience desired.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Registered Nurse).
• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them.
• Administer medications and treatments safely following orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care through teamwork.
