Job summary
Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time 0.6 FTE on a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on the Medical-Surgical 6th Floor. You will participate in an orientation program, receive dedicated support, and contribute to a caring team committed to exceptional patient care and professional development.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree (4-year) preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state is required; inactive license must meet reinstatement guidelines within one year.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong assessment skills to uncover the patient’s story and plan care.
- Collaborates with patients and the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
- Acts as a patient advocate and coordinates education and timely care interventions.
- Administers medications and provides routine nursing care (IVs, dressings, etc.).
- Continuously assesses progress and adjusts the plan of care with the team.
