Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Warren, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for 6 West Med Surg. This full-time night shift (3-12 Hour Midnights) delivers leadership in coordinating and providing compassionate patient care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

BSN preferred; MI RN licensure and BCLS required. Strong communication with patients, families, and the care team is essential, with opportunities for growth in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Job Description

Registered Nurse - 6 West Med Surg - Warren

Full Time - 36 hours/week - Schedule: 3-12 Hour Midnights - Shifts from 7:00p.m. - 7:00a.m.; every other weekend and holiday

Sign on bonus eligible, Up To $7,500 for FT Nights

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).
