Porter Medical Center, part of the University of Vermont Health Network, seeks a registered nurse for Medical/Surgical on a busy unit in Middlebury, VT. Night and day full-time roles available, with on-call not required and a generous benefits package.

We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus for external full-time applicants, $5/hour night differential, and $2/hour weekend differential, along with strong tuition support and a unionized RN staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
• BLS required; ACLS required for specific departments
• At least 1 year of hospital RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Medical/Surgical unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan and implement care.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards

We currently have full-time night and day shift Registered Nurse roles on our vibrant Med/Surg Unit, perfect for nurses who thrive in a dynamic hospital setting and want to broaden their expertise while making a meaningful impact in our community.

On-call: Not required.
