Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure and BLS certification (within 14 days of hire); ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Computer literacy required; additional certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide appropriate care for various ages and conditions.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.
• Practice cost-effective use of supplies and promote patient safety.
