Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7 pm–7 am) to assess patients and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, quality care.

A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is offered; benefits begin Day One, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and a 403(b) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Job Description

• Up to a $20,000 sign on bonus available for eligible candidates
