Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. This full-time, on-site role provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients, including assessment, IV medications, wound care, and discharge teaching.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nevada or eligible to practice in the state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred.
• Recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing or acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients.
• Perform patient assessment and continuous monitoring.
• Administer IV medications as prescribed.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Deliver discharge planning and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
