McLaren Health Care is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality care within the assigned unit. You will assess patients, implement and monitor plans of care, and supervise ancillary staff to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

Requires accredited nursing education, Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and TNCC/ENPC for ED. Full-time schedule with varying shifts in Michigan; McLaren is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in specialty area desired per unit requirements.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• TNCC and ENPC within one year for Emergency Department.

The McLaren system includes 12 hospitals across the state, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, a 730-member employed primary and specialty care physician network, commercial and Medicaid HMOs covering more than 242,000 Michigan lives, home health, infusion and hospice providers, pharmacy services, a clinical laboratory network, and a wholly owned medical malpractice insurance company. Responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice following hospital policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• 1. Assesses each assigned patient, documents, and evaluates their response to plan of care, and takes appropriate corrective action.
• 2. Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care/standard of care and provides patient teaching using the plan of care/standard of care.
• 3. Oversees all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in specialty area will be considered. Experience specific to the unit/position may be required to maintain overall competency level of unit, as required by regulatory agency.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• TNCC and ENPC within one year for Emergency Department.

Preferred

• One year of professional nursing experience.
