Valley Health in Winchester, VA seeks a Registered Nurse (Per Diem) to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care across the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with the health care team to ensure quality communication and patient safety.

The role requires an RN license in Virginia, with BLS certified, and at least two years of RN experience. BSN is preferred, and Labor & Delivery may demand additional certifications.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia is required.

• BLS certification required; Advanced certifications for Labor and Delivery preferred.

A RN PD is required to complete yearly mandatory competencies, any unit specific competencies that are identified by the Director/Designee as it relates to the patient population of their unit as well as completion of the Professional Practice Ladder requirements which include: Assuming responsibility as Charge Nurse, PI Activity and department initiatives, communicates and shares information to Director/Designee and co-workers from unit or hospital committee, a Valley Health paid Education, Seminar/Conference, workshop or Nursing Article. Portfolio is current and submitted to Director/Designee annually by March 1st.
