Job summary

Endeavor Health's Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Observation Unit Night shift to join our full‑time team. You will perform patient assessment, collect health data, and coordinate plans of care with the care team.

Responsibilities include clear communication with patients, families and staff, ongoing nursing practice evaluation, and maintaining knowledge of current standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or BSN required.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do

Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need

• Education : Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing, required.
• License : Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois, required.
• Certification : Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, required.
