Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Observation Unit on the night shift at Northwest Community Hospital. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care plan coordination, and education for patients and families.

Must hold an accredited nursing degree, an active Illinois RN license, and CPR certification. Night shifts, weekends, and collaboration with the healthcare team are required for this role.

Position:

Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit (Nights)

Location:

Northwest Community Hospital

Hours:

7:00pm - 7:30am, every other weekend

Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments, develop and coordinate individualized care plans, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team, provide tailored patient and family education, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and stay current with nursing standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of an accredited nursing degree (Associate's or BSN), current Illinois nursing license, and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Skills:

Strong assessment, communication, and clinical coordination skills; ability to individualize patient education; commitment to quality care and professional growth.
