Job summary

Saint Luke’s North Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical Intermediate Unit. This full-time, night-shift role offers 36 hours per week and a sign-on bonus up to $20k.

As a clinically skilled nurse, you will deliver patient-centered care, Lead peers, and participate in unit and system-wide committees to improve outcomes. You will work with a supportive team applying the nursing process, coordinating plans of care, and ensuring safety across diverse patient

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience in nursing or related field.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to patient care and ensure safety.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care tasks and supervise other care staff.
• Develop and implement plans of care for groups of patients and collaborate with the health care team.

Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Medical Intermediate Unit.

Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Intermediate Unit

Schedule

Full Time, 36 Hours/Week – Nights

As a nurse on this Intermediate Unit you will provide care to a diverse patient population with a variety of conditions, procedures, and treatment plans. This position will give you the opportunity to learn and expand your nursing skills. This position will allow you to be part of unit and system wide committees to improve patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
