CARIN Alliance in Alabama seeks a Nurse Manager for the MICU to lead night shift staffing and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
You will supervise and educate nursing and support staff, assess patient needs, and develop comprehensive care plans. The role also involves evaluating care effectiveness, addressing patient care concerns, and contributing to recruitment, training, and staff development.
Responsible for leading and coordinating staffing in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) to ensure delivery of quality patient care. The role involves assigning, supervising, educating, and evaluating nursing and support staff during night shifts, while assessing patient needs and developing care plans. The nurse manager evaluates care effectiveness, addresses patient care concerns, and contributes to staff hiring, training, and development.
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing with a diploma from an accredited nursing program and at least one year of relevant experience. Certifications required include BLS within 30 days of hire, with ACLS and PALS possibly required within six months, depending on the unit.
