Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks an experienced RN for the Medical ICU with Midnight shift. You will lead nursing care, assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, and document teaching for patients and families.

Applicants should have a BSN preferred, and must be licensed by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Six months RN experience is preferred, with strong communication to care teams and families.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Six months RN experience preferred.

UNIT OVERVIEW:

Unit 36 – Medical ICU-24 bed adult ICU caring for adult patients requiring vasoactive drips, ventilatory support, post cardiac arrest, sepsis, TPA strokes, targeted temperature management and other critical conditions requiring hemodynamic monitoring.
