Genesys Hospital, part of Henry Ford Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MICU in Grand Blanc, Michigan. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for optimal outcomes.

Required qualifications include Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and graduation from an approved RN program. This full-time night shift offers opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing within 2 months of hire date.
• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.
• Graduate of an approved professional RN nursing program.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans to optimize length of stay, resource use and outcomes.
• Deliver patient-centered care respecting rights, dignity, culture and preferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, medications and self-care.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy and perform procedures per policies.
• Monitor patient status and respond to acute changes in condition.
• Collaborate with case managers and other clinicians for seamless transitions.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate the development of a multidisciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource utilization, and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, culture, preferences, and expressed needs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, medications, and self-care, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform procedures according to established policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions, recognizing and responding to acute changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and appropriate referrals for continued care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute care or a related healthcare setting.
• Specialized certifications relevant to the clinical area.
