Title: Registered Nurse, Acute Care
The NEW Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital represents Orlando Health’s continued commitment to the Seminole County community, offering comprehensive acute care services, including cardiovascular, general surgery, orthopedics, women’s services with labor and delivery, and a future NICU. The hospital features state-of-the-art facilities such as operating rooms, catheterization labs, interventional radiology, a vascular lab, ICU, and emergency department.
Position Summary: Administers patient care in an inpatient or observation setting, providing active treatment for injuries, illnesses, or post-intervention recovery. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, patient advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and ensuring patient safety.
Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing school, current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license, BLS certification, and additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC as required. Minimum one year of nursing experience is required, with two years preferred for Hospital Care at Home roles.
