AdventHealth in Denver, CO, seeks a Registered Nurse for full-time, night shift within a Float Pool or facility-wide rotation. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases via the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and advancement criteria. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is offered.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, active RN license in Colorado, and at least 1 year in an acute care hospital setting. Strong teamwork and patient education are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required in Colorado.
• Clinical ladder participation is optional and based on criteria.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient physiological, psychological, developmental and sociocultural factors.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans according to standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure teamwork.

Job Description:

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG (based on patient ; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care hospital setting

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
