, 12-hour shifts, 3 nights/weekProgeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Winchester, 22601. As a Registered Nurse on our Med/Surg Telemetry unit, you will provide exceptional patient care to a diverse population of patients. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical/surgical nursing and experience with telemetry monitoring. This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts, working 3 nights per week.Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, recognizing any abnormalities and taking appropriate action- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques- Document all patient care and interactions accurately and in a timely manner- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions- Provide emotional support to patients and their familiesRequirements:- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/surgical nursing- Experience with telemetry monitoring preferred- BLS and ACLS certifications- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekendsWe offer competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits packages, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
