Methodist Richardson Medical Center is actively seeking a registered nurse to provide highly professional and technical nursing care during a 7A-7P shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Texas RN license or eligibility to practice in Texas.
• Six months RN experience (noted in requirements).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through communication, interpersonal relationships, and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates with the team, coworkers, patients, and families and verifies understanding of information.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written documentation of patient information.
• Delivers therapy through safe, accurate medication administration and IV therapy.
• Takes initiative for performance and professional growth and development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
