Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4-2 PEDS/ADULT MED-SURG IP NURSING UNIT. The role provides professional nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients’ needs, and leadership to CNA/SNA staff.

The position requires an Illinois RN license and CPR certification, with nights—12-hour shifts, and every other weekend. Full-time and part-time roles available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in med-surg/acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients across pediatric and adult med-surg units.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for each patient.
• Provide leadership and supervision to CNAs/SNAs and other healthcare workers as assigned.
• Work night shift: 12-hour nights, with every-other-weekend schedule.

Summary: Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing. Provides leadership and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers as assigned.

Requirements: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois. CPR.

Work Shift Details:

Nights -12 Hours, 3 - 12 hour night shifts, every other weekend

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$35.00 - $42.50
