Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse II independently cares for a group of patients, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards. Responsibilities include delegating appropriate patient care activities, maintaining professional accountability, and development. The CN II may act as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year RN Acute Care experience or 6 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS certification if required by the department.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Nurse Specialty certification.
