Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a 294-bed acute-care setting and to contribute to our multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an approved nursing program, Texas RN license, current BLS, and any department certifications; BSN preferred. This 12X3 Night shift is non-exempt and commensurate with Magnet-designated nursing excellence.

Qualifications

Job Purpose

Registered Nurse (RN) renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.

Job Requirements

Related Work Experience and Other Skills

• Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards and utilizes these when providing nursing care.
• Work experience: Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
