Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a 294-bed acute-care hospital serving North Texas, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. You will use the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote outcomes and safe care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• 12 months RN experience.

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient care and educational process.
• Communicates with team, patients and families, ensuring understanding of information.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Administers medications and IV therapy safely and timely.
• Demonstrates personal accountability for performance and professional growth.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience

• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the episode of care.
