Responsibilities

• Practice guided by the ANA Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination, health teaching, and evaluation.

Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification required within one month of hire.

Experience: Minimum two years of acute care or oncology RN experience; chemotherapy experience preferred.

Licensure: Current RN license in Connecticut; specialty certification encouraged.

Physical Demands: Prolonged standing, walking, exposure to infectious diseases, physical and emotional stress, and lifting patients up to 300 pounds.

Additional Information: Must have at least 2 years of relevant RN experience.
