Job summary

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• State licensure as a registered nurse; bridge programs may apply.
• Foreign nursing education requires degree equivalency validation.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in the U.S. or D.C.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience and creative approaches to managing complex patient care.
• Provides and supervises direct patient care using the nursing process with attention to patient education and self-management.
• Coordinates care across disciplines to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.
