Responsibilities

  1. Manage and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.
  2. Supervise and coordinate care provided by licensed and non-licensed personnel.
  3. Provide guidance and mentorship to staff and students, as appropriate.
  4. Report to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.
  5. Assist with physical restraint of patients using Behavior Management Techniques, if required.
  6. Follow standard precautions to prevent exposure to infections, blood, body fluids, chemicals, and electrical equipment.

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Oklahoma or multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) state.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Department-specific competencies during orientation.
  • Additional certifications may be required based on department (e.g., ACLS, PALS, CPR, CHPN).
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation, if operating a vehicle.
