Staff Nurses are responsible for:

1. Performing patient procedures within the scope of nursing practice.
2. Practicing safe medication administration and monitoring patient responses.
3. Participating in reviewing and implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.

The Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time frame and completes all necessary documentation.

Qualifications include:

• BSN Degree preferred
• State-issued RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
