An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time contract position at a prominent VA hospital in Seattle. A-Team Solutions LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse for full time contract position at the VA hospital in Seattle, WA. Coverage is needed for Med Surg position; to start upon credentialing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge and ability to carry out patient care duties for patient population including Telemetry medicine surgery and acute rehab. Technically proficient in preforming and completing assigned duties in providing care for patient populations
Knowledge and ability to appropriately carry out assigned patient care based on the patient's condition to use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments and to accurately recognize report and record relevant patient information
Prepares and administers prescribed medications and preforms treatments according to establish policies/procedures. Observes for physical and or emotional changes in patient's condition from prescribed medications/treatments. Promptly and accurately documenting noted changes and reporting any deviations from normal to charge nurse, ANM, NM, nursing supervisor and/or provider
Knowledge and ability to recognize urgent or emergent patient care situations seek immediate assistance and initiate appropriate emergency interventions
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Graduate of an approved school/college of nursing required. BSN preferred (ACEN or CCNE accredited)
An active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory.
Minimum 2 years medical surgical/acute care nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Must be authorized to work in U.S.
