Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a qualified Med Surg Registered Nurse in Michigan to provide high-quality care for adult patients in a dynamic medical-surgical unit.

The role emphasizes clinical skills, compassionate patient care and collaboration with the care team to support recovery and positive outcomes. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Michigan, with at least 1 year of MS experience and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical-surgical unit
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to adult medical-surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to established protocols
• Document patient status, care delivered, and progress notes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, post-hospitalization care, and discharge plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and elevate care as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment in line with facility standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and families
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced settings
