Job summary

Adventist Health Simi Valley is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a full-time Day Shift in the Med/Surg Acute 3 unit. You will deliver coordinated nursing care for patients, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking and independent judgment.

Required CA RN licensure, BLS/CPR; ACLS preferred; BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred. Includes discharge planning, delegation, and collaboration in a safety-focused team

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required per AH policy.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required per AH policy.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data to determine diagnosis and care plans.
• Collaborates with patient, family and healthcare team to provide safe, humane care.
• Participates in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
