Registered Nurse – General Medicine, Adult Safety Unit

Location: Winston Salem, NC, United States

As a crucial member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in our General Medicine/Adult Safety Unit, delivering exceptional healthcare and making a positive difference in patient outcomes. On this unit, you will care for patients under medical observation, some of whom also have behavioral health needs.

Position Highlights:

• Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus eligible position, provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements!
• Shift Schedule: Full time nights, 7pm-7am, with weekend rotation
• Department: General Medicine, Adult Safety Unit
• Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem

What You’ll Need:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• RN licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire for Adult Critical Care, Adult ED.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire for Network ED, Peds ED, PICU, NICU, and other areas per unit guidelines.
• Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
