Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Harlingen, TX to join our network of healthcare facilities. You will care for a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions, administer medications, monitor vitals, and work with a multidisciplinary team to plan discharges and ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience, with EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement physician-directed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
• Document all aspects of patient care per hospital policies in EMR.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Harlingen, TX area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Med Surg. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac patients, Couplet care, EKG monitoring, Educator, Fundal massage, Healing, Neuro patients, Oncology patients, Orthopedic patients, Ostomy care, PCA pumps , Traction & cast care, Tube feeding management, or Wound & drain care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Salary: $60,150 to $98,020 /year
