Job summary

MLHD invites experienced Registered Nurses to join Finley’s healthcare team, delivering advanced, patient-centred care with clinical judgement and leadership in a rural health facility.

You will work across multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement, and mentor colleagues while upholding cultural safety and professional development. A NSW Health Category A position requires immunisation and screening compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current Australian registration.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to mentor and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to person-centred care and cultural safety.
• Triage and emergency unit experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with standards and legislation.
• Conduct patient assessments, contribute to care planning, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Supported accommodation for a 3 month period may be considered.
