Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Maternal Fetal Medicine department. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with generally 7:45 am to 5:00 pm shifts, some Saturdays possible, travel to other Endeavor Health sites as needed.

You will provide safe, compassionate care and perform NSTs in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have an NLN-accredited nursing program diploma, IL RN license, BLS/CPR, and relevant NST or high-risk OB experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program.
• Current IL nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider is required.
• NST and high-risk OB experience are preferred.
• BSN degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Complete NSTs.
• Apply nursing process to patient care planning and evaluation.
• Supervise assigned unlicensed staff in interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate with healthcare team to ensure outcomes and continuity.
• Contribute to patient safety and high-quality experiences.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse ? Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours per week
• Hours: Generally scheduled between 0745- 1700 Monday -Friday (may eventually include some Saturdays)
• No holidays: no call
• Travel : Required to travel to other Endeavor Health sites when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Department
• Complete NSTs
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
• NST certification strongly preferred
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of inpatient Labor and Delivery or High-Risk OB experience required
• Fetal Monitoring experience required
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NST and high-risk obstetrics experience
