At Southern New Hampshire Medical Center our Maternal & Child Health Nurses provide flexible support across three core areas: The Birth Place, Special Care Nursery, and Pediatrics. The Birth Place is an 18-room Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit delivering family-centered care for over 1,000 births annually, staffed by a multidisciplinary team and supported by advanced monitoring and best practices. The Level II Special Care Nursery cares for infants 32+ weeks, including those with respiratory or feeding needs, in collaboration with Mass General and Boston Children's specialists. The 8-bed Pediatrics unit serves newborns through adolescents with a range of medical and post-operative needs. Together, these departments offer a dynamic, collaborative environment where float nurses deliver high-quality, compassionate care across the full continuum of maternal and child health.
The MCH Clinical Float Pool RN is an experienced registered nurse who provides flexible coverage across multiple units within the Maternal Child Health division.
